Want to help to get this started again?

There are so many ways to support your neighborhood if you choose to start up another Neighborhood Association.  Looking for someone to take over this webpage and keep up with the yearly cost (about $10.00 a month), plus this could be linked to your Facebook page and you could add to it to.

Want to step up and take this site over please email me pattihirsch@juno.com

I remember by going away party to Florida. Thank you everyone for the cards, gifts, flowers and more

Moving to Florida, I ended up working as a Neighborhood Resource Director for a large non-profit, taught classes in Membership Recruitment Maintenance and Mobilization, Neighborhood Watch Programs, Starting a Neighborhood Assocation, who would have guessed? HA

I am currently a Publisher of two newspapers in Sarasota and Tampa.

As You Know.. or may not KNOW

This was a Neighborhood Association and everything we did was a fundraiser.  As founder and President my contributions were (however not limited in no way) was writing endless press releases to the media to create awareness of all the positive things we were doing since we formed MWNA (See in the News Tab). And the time/paperwork in took to write grants for us to do what we did in the neighborhood: Dumpster Rental, Repairing the Bridge, Planting New Flowers,  Block Parties, Tool Library, New Homeowner Welcome Baskets, Scarecrow Festival, Neighbors Helping Neighbors,  and Neighborhood Beautification Project.

It can be done again. Thanks again. Patti Hirsch
